The chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin said that in the last year life expectancy in the country has reached almost 73.5 years. This is the highest figure in the entire history of Russia. The official believes that it is important to do everything necessary to ensure the availability of quality treatment, including high-tech, using modern, breakthrough methods.
“For this, we are consistently expanding the state guarantee program. This year, its funding has been increased by more than 400 billion rubles so that citizens continue to seek free help under the compulsory medical insurance policy even with serious illnesses,” he said. “The next task is to expand medical coverage for citizens. In our country, about 80% of drugs from the list of vital resources and technologies are thrown away. Of course, we need to increase their production,” politician Mishustin.
