The city authorities have decided to include drugs containing the active substance inclisiran. It is in the list of free drugs provided to Muscovites with hyperlipidemia. The corresponding resolution was signed by Sergei Sobyanin. In 2023, over 169 thousand Muscovites were provided with free drugs.
The urban healthcare practice made the decision to use this medicine based on the results of an observational efficacy study conducted by the Department of Health in the capital in 2023.
Since 2020, Moscow has been running a program aimed at providing free medication to citizens suffering from cardiovascular diseases. This initiative encompasses drugs for a total of 33 international generic names. Medicines are given to patients at high risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, those who have had a heart attack or stroke, and those suffering from other diseases of the circulatory system.
