The introduction of a drug labeling system has successfully prevented the circulation of batches of low-quality products around 400 times. Dmitry Alkhazov, General Director of the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies, made this statement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“In general, this is probably a small figure if we look at it in terms of market volume. But nevertheless, I believe that this function in the system was not conceived and implemented in vain, because this is a reversible process – the series can be unblocked,” he said.
