Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree appointing himself in charge of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) management.
“The president of the Russian Federation shall be in charge of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency’s management,” the decree published on the Russian official online database of legal information says.
Veronika Skvortsova remains the current head of the FMBA. She assumed this role in January 2020, subsequent to being succeeded by Mikhail Murashko as the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation.
