The Expert Council of the special economic zone “Moglino” in the Pskov region has approved the investment project of BetaMed for constructing a plant to manufacture medical devices, including surgical endoscopic staplers, cassettes, hemodialysis catheters, and other venous catheters. The project’s implementation will require over 1 billion rubles, higher than the previously estimated 665 million rubles.
Scheduled to begin in early 2026, the project aims to release the first product samples by its launch. The initial phase will see the production of about 160 units, with a maximum annual output of 820,000 units once the plant reaches full capacity. The products will be supplied to healthcare institutions and veterinary clinics in Russia and the CIS countries.
