Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin visited the “Omega-C” fish oil processing plant in Magadan, alongside regional governor Sergey Nosov. They inspected the production facility, laboratory, and finished products. Production at the plant commenced in February 2024, with a primary focus on manufacturing high-concentration omega-3 fish oil, re-esterified triglycerides, and veterinary fish oil for aquaculture and pet food purposes.
The total annual production capacity is 2200 tons, comprising 2000 tons of refined fish oil and 200 tons of re-esterified triglycerides. Mishustin praised the public-private partnership, highlighting the 1 billion ruble investment in the project.
