The government of Zabaykalsky Region (also known as Trans-Baikal Territory) is rolling out three projects to supervise drug prices in pharmacies, particularly in remote areas. One pivotal initiative, “Kind Pharmacies,” provides pensioners and large families with an 8% discount on pharmacy products once a month.
Furthermore, the “Social Shelf” initiative will impose a ceiling of 10% on price markups for essential food items, valid on two occasions every week. The “Mobile Shops” program seeks to foster mobile commerce in thinly populated and remote regions, guaranteeing improved availability of indispensable products.
