The pharmaceutical company Geropharm is modernizing a technological complex for the production of drugs in Obolensk (urban district of Serpukhov, Moscow region). The work is being carried out in three stages. During the first, the construction of a two-story extension to the main building was completed. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of State Construction Supervision of the Moscow Region. It is noted that the production will be automated by 90%. Full completion of the reconstruction is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.
The second and third stages entail the expansion of production areas to enable the production of 55 million packages annually of the filled cartridges of the drugs Rinsulin R and Rinsulin NPH. In addition to producing up to 45 million packages of Cortexin, 5 million bottles of Retinalamin, 500 thousand sachets of Recognan, and 100 thousand bottles of Pineamin.
