In July, the prices of vital and essential medicines (VED) increased on average by +1.1%, according to data from Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).
The prices of several drugs have seen an increase in recent times. Bisacodyl‘s price has risen by 16.9%, while Smecta has gone up by 5.1%. Furosemide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Paracetamol, Euphyllin, and Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) have also seen an increase, albeit to a lesser extent, with percentages ranging from 1.1% to 2.4%.
However, there are some drugs that have experienced a decrease in prices. Phosphogliv has seen a decrease of 1.2%, while Suprastin, Xarelto, Bisoprolol, and Umifenovir (Arbidol) have seen their prices decrease by 0.3% to 0.7%.
Overall, when considering non-vital and essential medications, there has been a slight decrease in prices by 0.1%. Sinupret has seen a significant decrease of 4.5%, while Valerian extract and Levomekol have decreased by 1.4%. Allochol, Ergoferon, Afobazol, and Atsipol have seen price reductions ranging from 0.7% to 1.2%, and Miramistin has seen a decrease of 0.7%.
Some drugs have had slight changes in prices. Iodine’s price has seen a rise of 1.2%, while Troxerutin and multivitamins have increased by 1.1% and 0.9% respectively. Fluocinolone acetonide has seen a rise of 0.8%, and metamizole sodium (Analgin Domestic) has experienced an increase of 0.7%.
