Ozon Pharmaceuticals has completed the first phase of constructing its manufacturing facility in Tolyatti’s special economic zone, investing 1.1 billion rubles out of a total 3.5 billion planned. The plant, spanning 25,000 square meters, is set to produce cytostatics and cytotoxics for cancer treatment, as well as other medications, and aims to be fully operational by 2027.
Currently, Ozon Medica holds 18 drug registrations, with plans to expand. Ozon Pharmaceuticals operates 16 GMP-certified production sites, all located in the Samara region.
Samara’s Economic Development Minister Dmitry Bogdanov announced that 15 new enterprises are expected to open in the special economic zone within the next few years, bringing a total investment of 48.7 billion rubles, including the anticipated opening of Polifarm’s facility this year.
