The Pharmasintez Group of Companies is set to construct the fourth stage of a cutting-edge plant for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients in Bratsk, located in the Irkutsk Region. The project will be implemented on a 1.2-hectare land plot, adjacent to the existing Bratskkhimsintez enterprise in the city.
Currently, the third stage is being built at the plant, which will be launched between 2024 and 2025. This will increase the volume of pharmaceutical substance production from the current 120 tons to 500 tons per year. By 2028, once the fourth stage is operational, the workshop’s production capacity is expected to increase to 760 tons.
The launch of the new site is expected to open doors for the company to expand its product shipping services to a wider range of market players. And the global goal of the project, according to Ivan Dratsky, CEO of Bratskkhimsintez, is to enter the world market. “We are confident that a certain list of substances, the raw materials for which are produced in Russia, will be competitive on the world market,” he said.
