The National Medical Research Radiological Center of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has become the first in the country to receive certification for in-house pharmaceutical production. This milestone allows the center to manufacture drugs tailored specifically for their patients’ needs.
The document allows the production of biomedical cell products and high-tech drugs. “Certified production helps in solving acute problems of import substitution of drugs, opens up prospects for the development of personalized medicine in the country. In addition, a high level of technical support facilitates the solution of many clinical and scientific problems of Russian oncology,” the report says.
“This is a truly great achievement of the Center, and it opens up opportunities for the production of super-precision drugs and, of course, for conducting promising scientific research,” emphasized the Chief oncologist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Andrey Kaprin.
