Iraq plans to collaborate with Russia on radiotherapy

The Iraqi government is keen to establish a partnership with the Russian Federation focused on oncology, with a particular emphasis on the anti-cancer vaccine developed by Russian researchers. This announcement was made by Saleh al-Hasnawi, the head of the Iraqi Ministry of Health, during the UN General Assembly meeting.
The minister noted that Iraq has sent a group of specialists to study these developments in detail. “We intend to cooperate in the field of radiotherapy and other advanced cancer treatment methods,” he emphasized.
