Russian Direct Investment Fund to assist localization of Russian pharmaceutical production in Mongolia

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Mongolian pharmaceutical company MEIC have agreed to cooperate in this area. The partnership includes collaborative investments in initiatives to transfer technology and localize the production of Russian pharmaceuticals in Mongolia.
RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev highlighted that localization not only brings additional advantages, but also boosts scientific and personnel competencies, advances technologies, and implements the best industry practices.
RDIF and MEIC have also committed to collaborating to attract co-investors and global partners to support projects in Mongolia focused on the transfer and localization of drug production technologies.
