A new titanium medical products manufacturing complex will be built in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The investor is Medical Titan, owned by Mikhail Shelkov, main shareholder of VSMPO-AVISMA. The volume of investments in the construction will amount to over 3.1 billion rubles.
The production site in Alabushevo will cover 10,000 square meters and focus on titanium implants for dentistry and orthopedics, with an annual capacity of 3 million units, launching in 2027. According to information from Mikhail Shelkov, only domestic raw materials will be used in production. Titanium medical products are the optimal solution for bone tissue restoration due to their high biocompatibility, lack of allergic reactions and significant mechanical strength.
