Tatarstan’s investment council approved nine major projects, totaling over 93.7 billion rubles in investment. The “Big Volga” project in Kazan, costing 67 billion rubles, is the main initiative, alongside a notable pharmaceuticals project.
The company “Pharmasintez-Kama” is poised to invest approximately 267.5 million rubles in establishing a state-of-the-art production complex in Naberezhnye Chelny. The enterprise will specialize in the production of the pharmaceutical substance heparin with a planned annual capacity of 2 tons. The production will be in the special economic zone “Naberezhnye Chelny,” providing the company with benefits like preferential land lease and resident status.
Naberezhnye Chelny is set to establish a children’s rehabilitation center, a project that will necessitate an investment of 245 million rubles. The center will offer comprehensive rehabilitation services for children under the age of 15, catering to those with physical and mental disabilities, cerebral palsy, neurological disorders, post-stroke conditions, and a range of injuries.
