A drug production facility will be established at the Kulakov National Medical Research Center for 1.3 billion rubles

A 1.3 billion ruble contract has been initiated by the Kulakov National Medical Research Center to build a pharmaceutical production facility in Moscow for high-tech drugs based on somatic cells and cell secretome. The project will be implemented using state funding and will be completed in December 2027. Project funding spans four years: 394.4 million rubles in 2024, 203.9 million rubles in 2025, 196.7 million rubles in 2026, and 519.7 million rubles in 2027.
The project envisages the construction of a three-story building with technical and underground levels with a total area of ​​3,900 sq. m on Academician Oparin Street. The structure of the complex will include a research center and production lines for the manufacture of pharmaceutical substances.
The Center is a large medical complex with 53 departments, 28 laboratories, and 2,800 staff, including several top academicians and doctors. It serves over 200,000 patients yearly, offering services in obstetrics, gynecology, reproductive medicine, pediatrics, oncogynecology, and more.
