Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova met with regions about the “Healthcare” national project, noting the creation of over 6,000 medical facilities and delivery of 236,000 medical equipment units since 2019, over 60% from domestic producers. The 1.7 trillion ruble project aims to enhance medical care availability and quality.
In the first nine months of 2024, more than 550 primary care facilities and 900 clinics were established or upgraded, accompanied by the deployment of 36,000 units of medical equipment and 2,000 vehicles. The project focuses on cancer, resulting in the construction of 15 oncology dispensaries and 548 outpatient centers, with 4 additional dispensaries and 14 centers opened this year.
