MIREA launches AI in medicine bachelor’s and advanced training programs

MIREA – Russian Technological University has launched the country’s first bachelor’s and retraining programs specifically designed to develop specialists in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. They were developed jointly with the Diagnostics and Telemedicine Center of the Moscow Department of Health. This fall, over 370 students are studying in this area.
The programs include both bachelor’s and professional retraining. 36 students have been enrolled in the bachelor’s program “Technologies and Systems of Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare”, studying both on a budgetary and commercial basis. The retraining program “Development and Testing of Artificial Intelligence Services in Healthcare” attracted more than 270 students at the University’s Digital Department.
