Rosstat has published new data on the dynamics of prices for medicines in October 2024. According to the information provided, the cost of medicines, both included in the list of vital and essential drugs, rose by 1.1%. In the segment of vital drugs, the most significant increase in price affected Bisacodyl, which showed an increase in price by almost 5%. Furosemide and Smecta also showed a noticeable increase – more than 3%.
A moderate increase in cost affected such common drugs as Paracetamol, Drotaverine and Euphyllin (1.5-2%). It is noteworthy that Arbidol, on the contrary, fell in price by more than 5%.
As for drugs not included in the list of vital and essential drugs, the leaders in price growth were multivitamin complexes with an increase in cost by 4%, as well as Ketorol Express and Corvalol – more than 2%. However, in this category, drugs with a decrease in price were also noted: Sinupret fell in price by 3.4%, and Acipol by 0.3%.
