The Russian Ministry of Health anticipates that there will not be a noticeable surge or reassessment of prices for vital and essential medications (VED) in the foreseeable future. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Sergei Glagolev.
“We have mechanisms for regulating prices: both planned registrations and registrations in connection with shortage risks (shortage of the necessary drug. – Ed.). And, accordingly, we do not expect a global increase or global revision of prices for vital and essential drugs,” he said, answering a question about the increase in prices for VED in the near future.
