18 medical organizations have received the right to manufacture and use biotechnological drugs

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a document outlining which medical institutions can produce and use biotechnological drugs (BTLP). These are personalized drugs designed based on each patient’s genetic traits, reflecting a modern approach to gene and cell therapy.
The official register includes 18 major medical groups from various parts of the country – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk regions, as well as Primorsky Krai and the Republic of Tatarstan:
  1. Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Physical and Chemical Medicine named after Academician Yu.M. Lopukhin (Moscow);
  2. Federal Center of Brain Research and Neurotechnologies of the Federal Medical Biological Agency of Russia (Moscow);
  3. The Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology of the Russian Ministry of Health (Moscow);
  4. Federal Scientific Center for Research and Development of Immunobiological Drugs named after M. P. Chumakov (Moscow);
  5. V.A. Nasonova Research Institute of Rheumatology (Moscow);
  6. Russian Scientific Center of Surgery named after Academician B. V. Petrovsky (Moscow);
  7. Federal Research and Clinical Center of Resuscitation and Rehabilitation (Moscow);
  8. DO Ott Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductology (St. Petersburg);
  9. Institute of Experimental Medicine (St. Petersburg);
  10. National Medical Research Center of Radiology (Kaluga Region);
  11. Research Institute of Fundamental and Clinical Immunology (Novosibirsk Region);
  12. Federal Research Center of Fundamental and Translational Medicine (Novosibirsk Region);
  13. Institute of Cytology and Genetics (Novosibirsk Region);
