The Moscow Region enterprise Granat Bio Tech, located in the Dubna special economic zone, has significantly increased its production capacity. The regional Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Science has reported that the annual production of vacuum systems designed for collecting biomaterial is projected to reach an impressive 210 million units.
According to Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the relevant regional ministry, the launch of a new production line at the end of 2024 has significantly boosted productivity, achieving an impressive increase of over 25%.
“Now the company will be able to produce at least 210 million disposable vacuum tubes per year, which are used to collect blood from a vein,” she said.
It is noteworthy that the enterprise has already occupied a significant share of the Russian market, which exceeds 27%. The production complex provides a full technological cycle: from injection molding to packaging of finished products. The range of manufactured products includes test tubes, special holders and double-sided needles, which form a complex system for collecting venous blood.
