The Scientific Research Institute of Childhood in the Moscow Region is beginning to use the innovative drug “Vyjuvek” (beremagene geperpavec) to treat epidermolysis bullosa (EB).The “Circle of Kindness” foundation has reported that the Russian Federation was one of the first countries to introduce this drug.
“The first batch of the drug was purchased and delivered to the regions at the end of last year. In total, in the coming months, about 150 children from 65 regions of the country who are suitable for the drug will receive the drug,” the press service said. In the near future, about 150 young patients from 65 regions of the country who are indicated for this drug will be able to receive therapy.
