According to the statement of the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Vladimir Zelensky, in 2024, the salaries of ambulance doctors increased by 12%, and mid-level medical personnel – by 14%. In general, according to him, statistics show a significant increase in the income of medical workers in most regions of Russia. There are no factors for a decrease or under-indexation, Zelensky added during a meeting of the Health Protection Committee in the State Duma.
Thus, in 44 regions, the growth in salaries of doctors amounted to 10 to 30%, and in 58, the salaries of mid-level medical personnel increased from 10 to 35%, the deputy minister said. He also noted that additional funding for the ambulance service in the amount of 30 billion rubles is planned. Thus, the total budget of the ambulance service within the framework of the approved state guarantees program will increase from 185 to 215 billion rubles.
In addition, Zelensky emphasized that over the first nine months of 2024, the number of doctors in the country increased by 2 thousand, and mid-level medical personnel – by 2.2 thousand.
