The portal regulation.gov.ru released a draft resolution from the Ministry of Health outlining a new procedure for managing medical waste classes B, C, and partially G. The document regulates in detail the procedures for their transportation and disposal.
The draft proposes that medical organizations can only enter into waste disposal contracts with companies established by regional government authorities. The regulation mandates that the operating company must submit a list of employees and vehicles involved in the process to the medical institution at least three working days in advance. Both parties must visually inspect container markings, check integrity, weigh them, and monitor loading during waste transfer.
