The educational program ‘Practical Reproductology’ has been launched in Russia, marking the first joint initiative between Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of professional training for reproductive doctors, the company’s press service told GxP News. The program is implemented by the International Academy of Reproductive Medicine (IDA) of Kazakhstan with the participation of Sun Pharma Russia.

The program includes a practical internship at the Persona International Clinical Center for Reproductive Medicine in Kazakhstan under the guidance of Vyacheslav Lokshin, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After practicing their clinical skills, participants take an online course, upon completion of which they receive an international certificate from IDA.

The first test group, which included nine doctors from Novosibirsk, Perm, Volgograd and Moscow, completed its training in the spring of 2025. The main group of participants is scheduled for September 2025.

The training encompasses contemporary patient management protocols used across EAEU countries, the application of embryology technologies—including artificial intelligence systems—organization of medical teams, and legal considerations related to assisted reproductive technologies. A tailored approach to infertility treatment is given special importance.

The program is conducted in an individual format, with one-on-one experience sharing between leading experts from Kazakhstan and Russian practitioners. The International Academy of Reproductive Medicine is accredited by the Eurasian Centre for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Health Care (ECAQA).
