ECOlab has expanded production in the Moscow region by opening another workshop in Elektrogorsk worth 500 million rubles, the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region said in a statement.
ECOlab has commissioned its sixth production facility for medicines and medical products as part of its investment project, with nearly 500 million rubles invested in the expansion of pharmaceutical manufacturing, said Ekaterina Zinovieva, head of the department.
ECOlab manufactures over 400 products, including diagnostic drugs, enzyme immunoassay systems, kits for immunological and biochemical research, and various medicines. The expansion of production capacity will enable the company to double its output, including preparations in the form of gels and capsules. The report states that in the future, the company plans to further increase the production of medicines, including those listed as vital and essential drugs.
Earlier this month, Altegra, a resident of the Dubna Special Economic Zone (SEZ), launched its workshop for solid dosage forms of beta-lactam antibiotics.
