From September 15 to 17, the pharmaceutical company Sotex took part in the All-Russian GMP Conference. This key industry event has been held since 2016 with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Federal State Institution “State Institute of Medicines and Good Practices”.
The conference brings together leading Russian and international experts in pharmaceutical manufacturing, representatives of government authorities, professional communities, and industry associations from dozens of countries, including Russia, the United States, Japan, Europe, Latin America, and the CIS.
Sotex consistently upholds GMP standards at all stages of production and actively shares its expertise with the professional community. This year, Sotex became a partner of one of the thematic sessions—”Current Issues in the Operations of Microbiology Laboratories at Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Sites.”
As part of this session, a presentation was delivered by Elena Izvekova, Head of the Microbiology Laboratory at the Quality Control Department of ZAO PharmFirma Sotex. The session covered topics such as the design and equipping of microbiology laboratories with modern equipment, the digital transformation of monitoring processes, and the use of interactive maps for industrial environment control.
Special attention was given to the development of microbiological monitoring processes.
The All-Russian GMP Conference fosters a unified expert community, contributing to the development of the domestic pharmaceutical industry, improving the quality and safety of medicines, and strengthening patient trust.
