The dietary supplement maker Evalar and marine collagen producer Varseas have agreed to a strategic cooperation.
According to Varseas, following the signing of the partnership deal, OOO AS RS (the brand’s legal entity) will halt sales in Russia and the EAEU of its type II marine collagen, Aksolagen marinum, and the BIN Care Joints chondroprotective dietary complex from January 18 through the end of 2026.
The company clarified that it will grant Evalar exclusive rights to its chondroprotective product line, which is based on undenatured type II marine collagen sourced from deep-sea mollusk tissues. These products will now be marketed exclusively under the Evalar brand. The change does not affect the rest of the Varseas product portfolio.
On its website, OOO AS RS claims to be the world’s only industrial-scale producer of undenatured collagen protein complexes of marine origin. Its portfolio includes 39 products for the medical, food, cosmetic, and veterinary industries. The company’s production facility is located in Svetly, Kaliningrad region.
