The Radioelectronic Technologies Concern (part of Rostech) has registered the domestically produced next-generation anaesthesia–respiratory apparatus Anestek for use in children weighing from 5 kg and in adults, the state corporation’s press service reported. Serial production of the device is planned to be launched by the end of 2026.

The device incorporates several functions for the first time that have not previously been used in Russian equivalents. These include intelligent ventilation management for comfortable weaning of the patient from the apparatus, the ability to calculate the amount of inhaled anaesthetics used during anaesthesia, and a function to reduce the risk of lung collapse (atelectasis). The latter substantially improves patient safety during prolonged and complex surgical procedures.

“Medical device manufacturing is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the Rostech State Corporation.<…> In the coming years, we plan to quadruple our market presence, begin serial production of around 40 new types of equipment, scale up manufacturing, and actively implement digital and AI-based solutions,” said Sergei Tsyb, State Secretary of the Rostech State Corporation.

In November 2025, the Rostech State Corporation launched serial production of the first Russian MRI‑compatible pacemaker, Apollo MRI, for patients with severe forms of arrhythmia.
