The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is currently developing a crucial resolution, as announced by Ekaterina Priezzheva, the Deputy Head of the Department. The main purpose of this resolution is to promote the creation of an advanced traceability system that can accurately track the origin of pharmaceutical substances. The platform will not be ready for launch until September 2024 at the earliest.
The system not only allows us to confirm the technological capability, but also enables us to validate the actual execution of each production stage. “The system is automated and digital, allowing it to retrieve resources from other interdepartmental systems. This ensures that we can have a strong conviction that the manufacturer <..> truly produces everything locally,” she explained.
