Swiss Acino will begin operating on the Russian market under a new brand – the pharmaceutical company has been renamed Alceya. As part of the rebranding, the international pharmaceutical group Acino International separated the Russian division of Acino Rus into an independent business.
All Acino products presented on the Russian market will remain in the Alceya portfolio. These include, in particular, medications and dietary supplements designed to support the health of women and men throughout their lives. At the time of launch, Alceya is among the top 3 pharmaceutical companies in the targeted category of women’s health on the Russian market, the report notes.
Currently, the company has portfolio of 21 brands spanning the women’s health, proctology, and urology categories. Remarkably that 80% of the products in Altsey’s portfolio are manufactured in Russia.
