The Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Anastasia Rakova, has announced the upcoming opening of two mental health centers in the Russian capital, which will operate in experimental mode. “We have decided to open mental health centers in Moscow, where Muscovites will be offered comprehensive psychological and psychotherapeutic assistance,” she told reporters.
“Literally in the coming months we will open two such mental health centers. Let’s see, if Muscovites like this project, then we will make this pilot project a basic one and form such a network throughout the city,” she emphasized. Consultations will be both individual and group, as well as offline and online.
Muscovites will be able to turn to these centers for help in case of stressful situations, neurotic conditions and low mood, as well as post-traumatic syndromes. Rakova did not specify in which urban districts the pilot centers will appear.
