The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has issued an order to allocate over 1.5 billion rubles from the national budget towards the acquisition of state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment for federal medical institutions. The funds will be used to modernize or re-equip medical rehabilitation departments in 49 federal-level organizations across different regions of the Russian Federation.
In total, more than 600 units of various equipment, including specialized equipment, will be supplied. “We will continue to develop medical rehabilitation for patients with different diagnoses throughout Russia,” Mishustin said at a government meeting held on April 5. It is expected that this will provide high-quality rehabilitation treatment.
In total, more than 7.7 billion rubles have already been allocated from the federal budget for updating rehabilitation equipment in regional healthcare institutions in 2024. The work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project “Optimal medical rehabilitation for restoring health.”
