Pharmasyntez will build a plant for the production of medical products in the Kaluga region for 2 billion rubles

The Kaluga region’s government has signed an agreement of intent with the pharmaceutical company Pharmasyntez to launch an investment project for building a plant that will manufacture medical products, including consumables and equipment. The governor of the region, Vladislav Shapsha, announced this.
“We are taking another serious step in the development of the Kaluga pharmaceutical cluster. The President of the Pharmasyntez company, Vikram Punia, and I agreed to expand cooperation. The amount of investment in the new project will amount to more than 2 billion rubles. 250 jobs will be created,” he wrote.
A year earlier the Kaluga Region and the Pharmasyntez Group of Companies signed 3 investment agreements worth more than 20 billion rubles. Three agreements on the implementation of investment projects worth more than 20 billion rubles were signed between the Kaluga Region and Pharmasyntez-Kaluga LLC as part of XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
