The director of the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, Alexander Gintsburg, has announced the upcoming launch of clinical studies for a cancer vaccine involving cancer patients by mid-2025. This vaccine is currently undergoing preclinical testing on mice.
Alexander Ginzburg noted that the vaccine is now being tested as part of preclinical studies on mice, and technology is being developed to not just extend the life of animals with melanoma by two to three times, but to create drugs that would guarantee the destruction of both the tumor and metastases.
