On January 14, State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the National Pharmaceutical Agency of Algeria signed an agreement on long-term cooperation, reports SID&GP.
It involves holding different training activities, exchanging information to ensure the proper quality of medicines, participating in inspections for compliance with GMP rules as observers. In addition, the director of SID&GP Vladislav Shestakov personally invited representatives of the Algerian inspectorate to speak as experts at the annual GMP conference 2021.
“Algeria’s pharmaceutical market is one of the largest in Africa. And cooperation between our inspectors has great potential for both sides. I hope that the signing of the agreement, as well as the registration of the Russian vaccine, will be the beginning of strong bilateral relations between our countries, will accelerate the implementation of projects to improve skills and exchange experience” said Shestakov.
