Sputnik V vaccine OK’d in 38 countries

The Russian anti-COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V is registered in the Republic of Moldova, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) reports.

Moldova became the 38th country where the use of the Satellite V vaccine was approved. The drug is one of the three world anti-COVID-19 vaccines in terms of the number of approvals received by state regulators.

“In the framework of cooperation to fight coronavirus between Russia and Moldova, the Sputnik V vaccine has been registered in the country. Today it is one of the most effective and safe vaccines in the world. Vaccination with a Russian drug in Moldova will be an important step to protect the population during the pandemic”, said Kirill Dmitriev, RDIF CEO.

Currently, Sputnik V is also registered in Russia, Belarus, Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria, Palestine, Venezuela, Paraguay, Turkmenistan, Hungary, the UAE, Iran, the Republic of Guinea, Tunisia, Armenia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Republika Srpska (entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lebanon, Myanmar, Pakistan, Mongolia, Bahrain, Montenegro, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Gabon, San Marino, Ghana, Syria, Kyrgyzstan, Guyana, Egypt, Honduras and Guatemala.
