The State Institute of Drugs and Good Practices (SID&GP) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade sent a proposal to the Eurasian Economic Commission to create a single medical regulatory body in the EAEU, said Director of SID&GP Vladislav Shestakov at Adam Smith Conferences.
“In 2019, our colleagues from AIPM made a proposal to organize a single regulatory body, supranational, in the EAEU. Our institute, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, sent a proposal to the EEC in support of the initiative to create the Eurasian Medical Agency, “said Shestakov.
He noted that the creation of such a body “will solve many tasks of coordinating the regulatory bodies of the EAEU countries.” Vladislav Shestakov added that the SID&GP are ready to provide resources and personnel for the formation of the Eurasian medical regulatory body.
