Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed to allocate at least 25 billion rubles each to help people with coronavirus infection and high-tech medical care. As the government’s press service reported on Monday, the corresponding item is contained in the list of instructions following the results of the Cabinet’s report in the State Duma.

“The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance were instructed to ensure the allocation of at least 25 billion rubles for specialized and high-tech medical care and at least 25 billion rubles for assistance to people diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection,” the report said.

In addition, these ministries must prepare by May 28 a draft act on the allocation of funds for the completion of the construction of health facilities in several regions. “The decision concerns a number of hospitals and dispensaries under construction, whose funding was cut due to the redistribution of money to combat COVID-19 in 2020,” the press service said.
