The total share of the 10 largest distributors in the pharmaceutical market of Russia amounted to 67.9% in the first quarter of 2021. Relative to the same period in 2020, this figure increased by 0.4%. DSM Group compiled a rating of Russian pharmaceutical distributors for the quarter.
The first place in the list was taken by Pulse. Also in the top ten were the companies Katren, Protek, R-Farm, Grand Capital, Pharmcomplect, BSS, Profit-med, Irwin 2 and Biotek.
The market capacity in the prices of distributors for the first three months of 2021 year amounted to 461 billion rubles, which almost coincides with the indicator of the first quarter of 2020 year. At the same time, the state segment (hospital purchases and supplies under preferential programs) increased by 27%.
The concentration in the commercial pharmacy segment in the quarter amounted to 88%. In the state segment, it is lower, and ТОП-10 accounts for only 44%.
