The first batch of anti-COVID19 vaccine Kovivak entered Karachay-Cherkessia

The first batch of 1.5 thousand doses of the Kovivak vaccine arrived in Karachay-Cherkessia. On Friday, it will be distributed to medical institutions in the region, the Ministry of Health of the KCR said on Thursday. This was reported by TASS on June 27. “Today, 3,120 ampoules of the Kovivak coronavirus vaccine (1,560 doses) were received in Karachay-Cherkessia. Tomorrow the vaccine will be distributed among the medical institutions of the republic. Now three vaccines will be available to the residents of the KCR at once for choice: Kovivak, developed by the Chumakov Сenter RAS, Sputnik V by the Gamaleya National Center and Epivakkoron, developed by the Vector Center, the ministry said. To date, 44 thousand residents have been vaccinated against coronavirus in the republic, 29.9 thousand people have completed both stages of vaccination. The ministry noted that more than 15 thousand people vaccinated in the region are over 60 years old. On May 25, a batch of 780 doses of the Kovivak vaccine entered the Tomsk Region.
