The first batch of the KoviVak vaccine entered Yamal


The first consignment of anti-COVID-19 vaccine of KoviVak delivered to the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area (YNAA). Vaccination with this drug allows you to simulate the natural process of the body’s fight against the virus. “The drug is made according to the classical method and contains a full-fledged deactivated virus, and not individual fragments of it. Which is its distinctive feature from the Sputnik V and EpiVakKorona vaccines. Immunization with the KoviVak drug takes place in two stages with an interval of 14 days, “the press service quoted Lyudmila Volova as the chief freelance epidemiologist of the district health department. At all times, 39,082 cases of covid infection were recorded in Yamal; 37,864 people recovered, another 419 died. To date, 82,807 people have been vaccinated in the region, of which 65,914 have completed immunization.
