Corvalol price rose in August by 1.8%

Prices for drugs that are not included in the vital and essential drugs list (VED) rose in August by 0.3%, including Valocordin by 2.4%, Corvalol by 1.8%, heparin sodium by 1.2%, sulfacetamide, metamizole sodium, Almagel, fluocinolone acetonide, combination analgesics, Laevomecolum, and Validol by 0.3-0.9 percent, Rosstat reported. Prices for taurine decreased by 0.8%, troxerutin by 0.6%, multivitamins with macro- and microelements by 0.5%, bromhexine and iodine by 0.4%.

In general, in August 2021, compared to July, the consumer price index was 100.17%. Prices for medicines included in the VED list decreased by 0.1%, including Enalapril, Oseltamivir (Nomides), by 1.0%,  Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid by 0.9%, Omeprazole by 0.6%,  Umifenovir (Arbidol), Amlodipine, Loratadine, Indapamide, ceftriaxone, Vinpocetine, Bisoprolol, Sennosides A and B, Azithromycin, Apixaban (Eliquis), and Suprastin, by 0.2-0.5%. At the same time, smecta, acetylsalicylic acid (domestically produced aspirin), by 1.1%, colecalciferol (vitamin D3), and xylometazoline, hypothyazide, loperamide, ambroxol rose in price by 0.1-0.5%.

Prices increased for the following medical products: bandages, by 1.3%; glasses with corrective lenses, by 0.5%, blood pressure measuring devices, by 0.3%, disposable syringes, by 0.1%. At the same time, the prices for electronic medical thermometers fell by 4.0%, mercury-free (Galinstan) medical thermometers, by 1.5%, Russian-made cotton wool, by 0.7%.
