The head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation proposed to create a Medical association of the BRICS countries


Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko proposed to consider the possibility of creating a medical association of BRICS countries during the 12th Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Health.

“We are proposing to think about this idea of creating the medical association of BRICS and will hope to discuss it within the framework of our intersession work,” RIA Novosti quotes Murashko as saying

According to the Health Minister of the Russian Federation, the creation of such an association will reinforce the role of the medical community. It will also allow to collectively discuss and develop the standards of medical aid, upgrade the skills of the medical community and develop the principles of medical ethics in BRICS.

Murashko earlier said that the simplification of registration will not affect the quality of medicines in Russia.
