The Ministry of Health: European pharmaceutical companies intend to continue business in Russia

European pharmaceutical companies have announced their intention to continue business in Russia, including the supply and manufacture of medicines and medical equipment, as well as service. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

“During a meeting with members of the Association of European Business (AEB), representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and Roszdravnadzor, as well as heads of competent departments of the Ministry of Health, answered questions received from members of the association. In turn, representatives of foreign companies noted that they intend to continue business in Russia, including the supply and production of medicines and medical equipment, and services,” the press service of TASS quotes them as saying.

The participants of the meeting discussed the issues of circulation of medical devices and medicines in the Russian Federation, the organization of public procurement, regulation of prices for medicines, and uninterrupted supply, the Ministry of Health stated.

As Mikhail Murashko, the head of the Ministry, stressed, ensuring the availability of medicines is one of the priority tasks of the state.
