Severny Okean will launch a new raw materials production facility for the manufacture of sodium heparin, an antithrombotic agent used in medicine, in Voskresensk in the Moscow region. To implement the project, the investor signed an agreement under which it received a land plot for lease for 1 ruble per year.

“The company’s investment volume is 850 m rubles. The production facility on the land plot provided to the company under the regional support program for import-substituting industries will create 300 jobs. It is expected that in three years the facility will begin production of raw material for heparin powder, which will meet the needs of the Russian market, as well as the markets of the CIS countries, in the product,” said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the Moscow Region and the region’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Science.

Over 50 investment projects will be implemented in the Moscow Region as part of the Land for 1 Ruble program.

“During the time that the anti-crisis measure was in force, since March last year, more than 60 land plots have been leased for one ruble per year as part of regional support for the construction of new modern production facilities and the expansion of existing ones. The One Ruble lease agreements have already been signed by 55 investors. It is especially important that the import-substituting companies participating in the subsidized lease program include Severny Okean, whose products are important not only for the economy of the Moscow region, but also for the live of our citizens,” said Natalia Adigamova, Minister of Property Relations of the Moscow Region.
