iHerb’s California Gold Nutrition vitamins and dietary supplements are now available on the Yandex.Market marketplace, in the Healthy Foods section, Farmatsevtichesky Vestnik reports. The Russian-language website of the American marketplace iHerb is still blocked in Russia, however.
Yandex.Market expects that the launch of sales of iHerb goods will further stimulate the growth of dietary supplements and vitamins category on the marketplace. The goods have already arrived at the Yandex.Market warehouse in the Moscow region, and they will soon be delivered to regional warehouses, too.
iHerb’s own website was blocked by Roskomnadzor (Federal Supervision Agency for Information Technologies, Communications and Mass Media) in 2020 due to the presence of information prohibited for distribution in the country. The company appealed the case in the Russia’s Supreme Court, but the decision was not in its favour. Due to “logistical problems” in February 2022, iHerb stopped accepting orders from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine. The company’s website remains blocked.
