As Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova says the Russian government has allocated almost 319 billion rubles for the implementation of the national healthcare project. She said that the plans of the national project must be executed in a timely manner, since 2023 and 2024 “are key years in terms of summing up the results for the entire period of the project”

Golikova said that in January-May 2023, the construction of three capital construction facilities for children in the Kaluga, Kaliningrad and Samara regions were completed, an oncology dispensary was put into operation in the Ryazan region, and about 200 primary care facilities were created. In addition, 28,000 units of medical equipment were purchased out of 49,000 planned for the year and 2,000 ambulances (the plan is 2,800).

Last year 374.7 billion rubles were provided for the national Healthcare project and in 2022, an increase in life expectancy was recorded to 72 years and 6 months. While this years it is exceeds 73 years as the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said before.
